New Gmail App Makes Debut on Wear OS, Alongside Pixel Watch 2

Google unveiled its brand new artificial intelligence assistant with Bard, and Android 14 is already appearing on devices. But that’s not all: Wear OS users will also be spoiled.

Google launches Gmail app for Wear OS which will allow users to smartwatch to check their inbox and open their messages. The app was first spotted on the Google Play Store by 9to5Google. She allows to check your inbox And supports multiple Gmail accounts at once. The app can open full emails, which you can scroll through. You can also manually refresh your inbox if necessary.

The app also includes a watch face that displays new emails. It does not show all unread emails, but only those that have recently appeared.

Previously, Wear OS watches could receive push notifications from Gmail, but users were limited to archiving, replying, or deleting in response. For some time now, there have been rumors that Gmail will make its debut on smartwatches Wear OS, and it’s a relief to finally see the app appear with the new Pixel Watch 2. Other smartwatches running Wear OS 3 or 4 will also be able to benefit from this app.
