A design that does not pretend
First impression when you get her out of her box: “Damn, she’s classy”. Samsung did not take off at this time. No more plastic tricks that do gadget. Active2 has a real mouth with its circular dial and domed glass. She is cheap, even next to a real watch.
The silicone bracelet is rather comfortable, even if after a day of heat wave, it transpires a little (like all watches that said). If you have a little wrist like me, check what I recently discovered on watches suitable for fine wrists.
The interface: fluid but you have to get used to it
Samsung has tried to facilitate navigation with a fairly clever thing: a virtual touch border. It’s cool on paper, but I struggled the first days. Some menus are not ultra intuitive and sometimes it eases up.
Once you’ve got the system, it’s rather fluid. But frankly, they could have simplified certain things. Samsung’s Tizen system is good, but it’s not the revolution either.
Sports and health side: it ensures serious
For sport, this is where Active2 really shines. Heart monitoring is precise, the data is complete, and it automatically detects certain activities. I loved the virtual coach who motivates you (well … who tries).
Sleep monitoring is correct but not always fair. Sometimes she tells me that I slept super well when I spent the night turning like a pancake. Beautiful scam.
Another nice thing: follow -up of stress. When my boss frees me in a meeting, my watch confirms to me that my level of stress explodes. Super useful, thank you Samsung.
I speak more in detail here.
