Garmin Vivoactive 6: Who is it really for?
The Vivoactive 6 targets a large audience: regular sportsmen, fitness lovers, fans of connected gadgets and even those who just want a stylish watch that makes (almost) everything. Garmin muscles its range with a high -end model, while remaining accessible and less technical than a drilling or a fenix.
Do I need all these functions?
The question that kills. Yes, the Vivoactive 6 overflows with features. More than 80 sporting profiles (race, trail, swimming, golf, yoga, muscus, mountain biking, kayak, etc.), ultra-complete health follow-up (sleep, stress, vrc, body battery, hydration, oximeter, etc.), multi-gNSS GPS, integrated music (8 GB), notifications, contactless payment, training animations, pacement, the list is very long.
Who are these functions useful for?
- Beginner or leisure sports : Training suggestions, animations and health follow -up are perfect for progress without taking the lead.
- Regular or trailer runner : power monitoring, pace planning, race dynamics and simplified navigation make the difference to improve its perfs or venture off the beaten track.
- Well-being geek : Sleep monitoring, morning report, nap detection, stress management … If you like to quantify everything, you will be served.
My clear opinion: If you are just looking to count your steps or read your SMS, the Vivoactive 6 is clearly oversized. But if you like to explore, test, progress and stay motivated, it quickly becomes addictive.
