“The original Hamilton Frogman was used by US Navy underwater demolition teams during World War II and was built to withstand the harshest conditions. Equipped with a canteen-style screw-down crown to protect the mechanism from water ingress and a highly legible dial, Frogman watches formed the basis of the most dangerous missions in the deep. In 1951 it was presented to the public and made its debut on the big screen in the drama The Frogmen. Hamilton’s Frogman upholds the legacy of a reliable precision instrument.

It is available in four versions that differ from each other by the color of their dial, khaki green or black, and by their green or black rubber strap, or metal bracelet.
The dial is highly legible thanks to the colors chosen, green or black, and how the applied indices and hands contrast on it. The hour hand, orange minute hand and second hand are nickel-plated and with Super-LumiNova.
The case is made of steel with a size of 41 mm in diameter, a thickness of 13.09 mm and a width between lugs of 20 mm. It has sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment. The back is blind with an engraving. It has a water resistance up to 30 bars, 300 meters.
Inside it is the H-10 automatic chronograph movement with an 80-hour power reserve and Nivachron regulating spring.
It is available with a green or black rubber strap and a metal bracelet.
