Remember, Furlan Marri had caused a veritable tidal wave in the watchmaking sphere. A record Kickstarter followed by several successful sales in 2021 as well as a nomination and victory at the Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Genève in 2022. We also met one of its co-founders, Andréa Furlan, during the last Watches & Wonders and then interviewed him afterwards. Today, the young brand unveils three new automatic models who (finally) return to permanent collection !
This is good news for fans: Furlan Marri is structuring its permanent collection by adding automatic watches. Coming out of the cocoon with mecha-quartz, the Swiss brand took a step forward with a first limited series equipped with an automatic movement: the Three Hands or Three Needles on a Black Sector dial, only produced for customers who took the plunge during an online sale that lasted barely 10 days. This reference 2116-A is now evolving into a dial Salmon Sector (ref. 2154-A), Gray Sector (2145-A) and White Sector (ref. 2161-A), each with a texture struck by electric shock for a unique rendering.
Within his 37.5mm wide case with finishes alternating between brushing and polishing, with sublime cow hornswe find an automatic movement that is more and more talked about: the La Joux-Perret G100 with its 68 hours of power reserve. A far from trivial fact that allows this caliber to stand out from the competition while using the prestige of the La Chaux-de-Fonds manufacture (which will celebrate its centenary this year). Moreover, Furlan Marri was one of the first brands to use this promising new caliber. Whether in terms of design or finishes, André Furlan and Hamad Al Marri do not disappoint and once again deliver perfectly executed pieces according to the purest Swiss traditions and always at an affordable price. These watches will be available from April 3, 2023 at 6 p.m. at a rate of CHF 1,250 excluding taxes, i.e. around 1,500€ incl. VAT.
