Fitbit Versa 3 Review: An In-Depth Look at Fitbit’s Smartwatch

I used the Fitbit Versa 3 for several weeks with a fairly simple idea in mind: track my activity, my sleep and receive some notifications without having a smartphone glued to my wrist.

First good surprise, it is really comfortable. After a few days, I completely forgot about it. The screen is pleasant to look at, the information is clear and the battery easily lasts several days. At home, I recharged about once a week. Not every day like some competing watches.

What I appreciated the most was the physical activity tracking. Seeing calories burned, steps taken or even sleep statistics ends up becoming motivating. Strangely, we find ourselves walking a little more to achieve our goals.

On the other hand, everything is not perfect.

The real downside was the synchronization with the phone. Some days everything works perfectly. Other times, notifications disappear, the weather stops updating, or the app decides to act up. Nothing insurmountable, but in the long run it gets annoying.

I also found it a shame that some advanced analyzes were reserved for Fitbit Premium. When you already invest more than €200, you would like to have access to everything without an additional subscription.

In the end, if you are looking for a watch that is pleasant to wear, with good battery life and complete health monitoring, the Versa 3 remains a very good choice. Now, if software reliability is your number one criterion… I admit that I would also look at Garmin before pulling out the bank card.
