Apple Watches: Apple Watch Series 9 revealed, potential cancellation of Apple Watch SE 3

With Apple’s highly anticipated launch, it looks like the wave of leaks and rumors won’t be stopping anytime soon. This time around, we have some details about the upcoming Apple Watch Series 9 models.

In his latest Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman revealed thatApple planned to launch a total of three Series 9 models. This will include a 41 millimeter variant and a 45 millimeter variantas well as the next iteration of the Apple Watch Ultra.

However, it looks like the Cupertino tech giant is only not interested in an Apple Watch SE 3 this year. If you remember correctly, the first Apple Watch SE was launched in 2020, and the next in 2022. So the third variant of the SE series will most likely be launched in 2024, which will keep the two-year launch cycle. .

That being said, the next three Apple Watch models that are more than likely will use the new S9 chipset to deliver significantly better performance than the Series 8. Additionally, the Series 9 could also come in a dark titanium color.

Separately, Gurman also revealed that the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max variant will incorporate a new technology called LIPO (low-injection pressure over-molding) in order to achieve an almost borderless visual experience, these being reduced to 1.5 millimeters compared to 2.2 millimeters on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. This same experience is planned for iPads in 2024. However, few details are available on iPads so far.

I will keep you posted as new details emerge.
