ANOMALY Evolution, the perfect synthesis
A few weeks after the launch of a tourbillon model resolutely focused on fine watchmaking, CODE41 returns to its core target by offering the second edition of one of its emblematic watches, ANOMALY Evolution.
A worthy heir to the collection that launched the young Swiss brand, the ANOMALY Evolution brilliantly represents its founding principles. Thus, the members were asked at all stages to actively participate in the creation of the watch. Design, materials, complications: each feature represents the voice of the community, which is expressed through direct votes. A unique participatory approach that has become the signature of CODE41.
Conceived as a fusion of the two previous models, the ANOMALY Evolution is inspired by the technical design of the -01 and incorporates the Swiss movement and the date of the -02. But that’s far from everything! Following the recommendations of original ANOMALY owners, CODE41 has made a whole series of improvements that propel the Evolution into a new category.
A myriad of novelties
For this long-awaited second edition of early fans who missed the boat in 2021, the ANOMALY Evolution returns with an additional color. And it is the anthracite and orange dress that wins the votes, a combo that sublimates the very particular technical design of the watch.
But it is above all on the technical level that the Evolution differs from its big sisters. First, CODE41 has upgraded the original movement with a robust Sellita SW200-1 in an elaborate version, for an increased precision of -7/+7 daily seconds.
The anti-reflective sapphire crystal also makes its appearance on the front side, but also for the new transparent case back, which allows you to contemplate the gears in a new light. The general ergonomics have been optimized: the watch is thinner and the display more readable with a Luminova that is twice as powerful. And to top it off, the crown has been reinforced and the water resistance increased to 100 meters. A technical achievement without compromise for only 1348 francs!
