The Panerai house has presented its new Submersible S Brabus eTitanio PAM01403. A new watch made as a result of the association with the luxury mobility brand Brabus. A model whose case is made with a 100% recycled titanium powder derived from waste from this pre-consumer alloy, which is obtained thanks to a direct laser metal sintering process. The result has a uniform appearance.
“Layer after layer, titanium powder is fused together by high-powered fiber-optic laser sintering, transforming it into a solid material from scratch. In this meticulous precision layering process, each pass of the laser results in a nearly imperceptible but uniform layer, 30 microns (0.03mm) thick. This technique allows the formation of a hollow structure on the inside.”
