The Grand Prix d' Horlogerie de GenΓ¨ve (GPHG) already has the finalists for the best watches of the year. This is the parade of hours that can become stars of the year on November 9th. 90 watches compete, including 6 table clocks, in 15 categories. Only one of them will win the βAiguille d 'Orβ Grand Prix, the award for the best timekeeper of the entire year. In 2022, this medal went to MB & F Legacy Machine Sequential Evo.
Audemars Piguet and Piaget each have five nominations. They are followed by IWC, Chopard and Parmigiani Fluierer with 4. Bulgari, Bovet and TAG Heuer participate with three. The Men's and Women's category includes watches with hours, minutes, seconds, date, power reserve and/or classic lunar dates. In the case of the Iconic category, it refers to models that have been on the market for more than 20 years and are already a classic. If it is La Petite Aiguille, they are watches between CHF 2,000 and CHF 8,000. In Challenge, nominated watches cost less than CHF 2,000.
