First spotted by PriceBaba, the Galaxy Watch 6 and 6 Classic were found in a database of supported devices by Google. As Galaxy Watches tend to use their own version of Wear OS, included in the One UI Watch interface, they require Google Play Store support, so their appearance in such a database makes sense.

The code names for the small and large versions of both models are "fresh6bs" and "fresh6bl" for the Galaxy Watch 6 and "wise6bs" and "wise6bl" for the Watch 6 Classic, with the last letters presumably meaning "small" and " big ".

No Pro model this year

Previous Classic editions, such as the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, featured a physical rotating bezel to look more like a classic watch with analog elements. Presumably the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will come with a similar feature.

Last year, the Galaxy Watch 5 line did not have a classic model, replaced by the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. This high-end watch, featuring a sturdy raised bezel and advanced GPS features, was Samsung's most powerful to date.

This year the roles seem to be reversed again, with the Watch 6 lacking a Pro model and the Classic model taking its place. One wonders if this isn't the start of a trend, with Samsung releasing two watches each cycle, alternating between a Pro model and a Classic model in the second slot.
