Home Seiko a few days ago he presented his new Prospex Land Mechanical GMT Limited Edition 4,000 pieces and with reference SPB411. A watch with a design inspired by the first Seiko GMT from 1968 as it recreates the historical model from the late 60s, known as the Navigator Timer, the brand's first GMT to have a rotating bezel.
A new watch with a design based on that of the Navigator Timer from 1968 and that just by looking at it makes you remember the unforgettable designs made by Seiko during the 70s and 80s. A model that maintains the compact dimensions of the original edition, in addition to its classic sporty look. In this recreation, characteristic details such as the finish of its dial, hands or the distinctive five-link bracelet have not been forgotten.
The dial is gray with its characteristic sunray finish on which the applied indices contrast. The hour and minute hands have a design that not only reminds you of the model they honor but also the Seiko watches of that era.
The case is made of stainless steel with a coating to make it more resistant to scratches. It has a size of 38.5 mm in diameter and a thickness of 12.6 mm. The crystal is box-shaped sapphire with an anti-reflective finish on the internal surface. It has a steel back with a classic design and water resistance up to 10 bar, 100 meters.
The caliber is 6R54. Self-winding mechanical movement with an accuracy of +25 to -15 seconds per day. It has a power reserve of 72 hours.
The set is completed with the vintage design five-link bracelet and the three-fold closure with push button opening.
