Home Certina presented a few days ago the new DS SUPER PH1000M. A watch with an unmistakable aesthetic inspired by a 1970 model with a characteristic barrel shape with a rotating, fluted and embossed bezel. It comes in two variants: a limited edition of 1,000 pieces with a bright orange dial and a non-limited version in black.
Finally the house Certina has presented these two new watches DS SUPER PH1000M. Watches of which we already knew of their existence thanks to some images that were published on social networks but for which we still did not have a presentation date or technical data. As we have already mentioned, they are available in two versions, a limited edition of 1000 pieces with a bright orange dial and a non-limited version in black. I really like them in any of the versions.
The dial features contrasting applied indices on the orange or black dial. Wide indices and hands with SuperLumiNova coating provide optimal readability in the dark. At 3 o'clock they have a date indicator.
The case is made of stainless steel with a tonneau shape and size of 43.5 mm x 42 mm and 14.5 mm in height. It has a distance between handles of 20 mm. The crystal is made of anti-reflective sapphire and has a screw-down crown and helium escape valve. The rotating bezel is unidirectional with aluminum ring and Super-LumiNova marking. It has a screw-down crown and water resistance up to 100 bars, 1000 meters.
Inside the caliber is the ETA Powermatic 80.611. Self-winding mechanical movement with Nivachron hairspring. It has a power reserve of 80 hours. It is resistant to magnetic fields. The watches come with a black rubber strap or a #tide ocean material textile strap.
The approximate RRP is β¬1,100 for the limited edition and β¬1,040 for the normal edition. Certina
