It is the most spectacular closing event. The festivities concluded on Sunday August 20 with the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance® y the most anticipated prize of the week. The legendary golf course was a hive of activity with cars from 1906 to 1998 gracing 18th Street in all their glory. The special classes recognized the world's leading brands such as Lamborghini, McLaren and Porsche sporting some of their most iconic models.

But parallel to the brilliance of the past, it was developed on the Concept Lawn, where pioneering cars were shown. And there they appeared on the scene Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster from 1937which was named Best of Show en el Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance® de 2023. The owner, Jim Patterson, was awarded a Oyster Perpetual Datejust 36 specially engraved.

Tom Kristensen, nine-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Rolex Testimonial, was an honorary judge at the Concours: “For a car to take home honors at Pebble Beach it has to be tops. Precision engineering, the authenticity of each mechanical part and the style of its presentation is everything: it takes a lot of preparation and passion to succeed. To later receive a Rolex watch as a reward for this dedication is something that stays with you forever. It's an everlasting reminder."

Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance®

On Thursday, August 17, the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance®, also presented by Rolex, against the backdrop of the peninsula's traditional summer mist. At the start on Portola Road, classic cars line up three at a time for a glimpse of design and styling from decades past. The route of this new edition took them along Palmero Way to 17-Mile Drive to Big Sur, before returning to Pebble Beach Golf Links®. The Tour gives locals and fans from around the world the chance to enjoy the sights, sounds and even the smells of the glorious engines of yesteryear.

Monterey Motorsport Reunion

There is also a place for racing cars here. For four extraordinary days, the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion hosted many of the best racing cars in the sacred WeatherTech Raceway at Laguna Seca. From Wednesday, August 16 to Saturday, August 19, more than 400 vehicles showcased nearly a century of motorsport heritage. This year, he marked the 70th anniversary of Corvette and the All-American. The brand paid tribute to the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans by displaying the first Corvettes to compete at the Circuit de le Sarthe in 1960.

The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering

On the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering invited attendees to view more than 200 culturally significant vehicles. The exclusive 1956 Ferrari 410 Superamerica 'Super Fast', owned by Anne Brockinton Lee, was crowned the winner and welcomed into the 2023 Rolex Circle of Champions.
