A new watch fair has just been born: TimeFest in Bordeaux!

Introducing TimeFest: Bordeaux’s Newest Watch Fair!

This is the excellent news of the week and a new demonstration that something is happening in the small watchmaking world in France: the announcement of a new watch fair, TimeFest, which will take place in Bordeaux on June 15 and 16.

I am really very happy with this announcement for several reasons. The first is the composition of the team behind this project. We find Aurélien and Jérémy, founder and manager of the HOREL boutique and hosts of the YouTube channel Parlons Montre, Mavrick, co-buyer of the MONA Watches brand as well as Edouard the founder of the Podcast Des Montres & Vous. A team that is complementary to say the least because it brings together players from distribution, a brand and the media.

The Bernard Magrez Cultural Institute:

Then because the event will take place not only in Bordeaux, in my favorite city, but also in a prestigious place, the Bernard Magrez Cultural Institute. I already know that the quality of the reception of visitors and brands will be there thanks to the size and standing of the Institute.

Let’s talk about brands. The line-up promises to be very full with at this stage around thirty brands that have confirmed their presence. From Akrone to ZRC, the list is diverse, combining niche players with major companies such as Oris or Maurice Lacroix. Obviously, the spotlight is on French brands and we are delighted to be able to discover the latest innovations from Baltic or SpaceOne.

The brand plateau at the end of March:

Finally, the vocation of TimeFest is to be much more than a trade fair but to become a place for meetings, exchanges, in other words, to give everyone the opportunity to share the common passion around watchmaking. Conferences and an artistic exhibition will be organized without forgetting the musical atmosphere and evening entertainment. Consequently, TimeFest promises to be an unmissable event for any watchmaking enthusiast. The timing seems ideal to me in any case, during the sunny days, before the summer holidays with in mind the new products that the different brands will have presented during the spring.

To participate in this event, nothing could be simpler. Just go to the TimeFest website (timefest.fr) and book your tickets. Admission is free but in order to control the number of visitors, booking is mandatory. So don’t forget to book your tickets and I hope I will have the pleasure of seeing you in Bordeaux a few days before the arrival of summer. In the meantime, I wish the organizing team every success in building the event because I imagine they are preparing a few surprises.
