A watch expected at the turn. Design never lies. When a watch is refined, it is because the essential takes precedence over the superfluous. There Galaxy Watch 8still officially not announced, promises to be an evolution:
A watch that does not try to shine, but to forget yourself on the wrist. It is not a revolution. It is a consolidation.

Leaks agree: the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 could be the finest in the range. A reduction in thickness without sacrificing autonomy or solidity. Where the Watch 6 could sometimes hinder finer wrists, this model would target a more universal, discreet and light port, especially in aluminum version.
We expect a more resistant glass, perhaps sapphire on certain variants. The physical button remains, more integrated. The Amoled screen, always without visible edge, should gain in brightness in strong light. Physical rotation? Probably reserved for the Classic version.
The trend is clear: the Samsung connected watch is no longer a gadget, it is an instrument of measurement. Reliable noises speak of even thinner sleep monitoring, thanks to sensors more sensitive to micro-around and variations in body temperature. The heart rate sensor would be more stable even in motion. ECG and blood pressure would always be there, but with a better interpretation of the data.
Samsung pushes the preventive approach. The monitoring of the menstrual cycle, launched on Watch 5, would be reinforced. Same thing for SPO2 (oxygen saturation), useful at altitude as if to detect certain sleep disorders. The watch could also anticipate falls by sudden acceleration, and offer an emergency alert.
Race, cycling, bodybuilding and even yoga will find suitable coaching. But this time, Samsung would target more just: fewer raw figures, more intelligible feedback. Cardiac frequency area, VO2max, evaluation of the drive load ... all displayed clearly. The objective is no longer to measure everything, but to interpret well.
According to prudent leaks, the battery could benefit from better software management, if not larger. Advanced "low consumption" mode, faster recharging (less than an hour per 100 % hoped). Enough to hold 2 to 3 days in normal use.
Wear OS continues to ripen. Samsung adds its One Ui Watch layer, with smarter widgets, better integration with the Galaxy ecosystem, and perhaps the end of Bixby, for the benefit of a more efficient assistant. Nothing announced, but a heavy trend.
The Galaxy Watch 8 should be available from the official announcement on the Samsung site, as well as with partner resellers. Follow our updates to find out the prices, versions and stocks available.
