A very sophisticated and technically complex mechanical beauty. Chronoswiss presents its Opus Chronograph in titanium for the first time to celebrate its 40 years of life. He Lucerne workshop relaunches one of the fundamental pieces of its history with a new, more attractive 'look'.
Chronoswiss has meticulously refined its Opus Chronograph, which has evolved over this quarter of a century. In 1995, the independent firm dared to launch a completely skeletonized chronograph whose automatic movement took center stage on the open dial — the brand recalls that it was the first mass-produced skeletonized chronograph. He Opus Chronograph Titanium showcases the intricate ballet of cams and levers in action with a revolutionary design, leaving nothing to the imagination, thanks to a harmonious architecture with four symmetrical sub-dials – small seconds, 30-minute counter, 12-hour counter and date indication by hand —. It shows off an unprecedented and elegant deep green color with CVD coating on the face.
The new Opus Chronograph Titanium It uses the caliber C.741S, an integrated chronograph based on a movement Valjouximproved with the spiral Nivarox silicon alloy. The craftsmanship of the atelier can be seen in numerous details. Its skeleton rotor is CVD plated with Côtes de Genève. It has a polished finish on the escape wheel and other elements such as the lever and screws. Its skeletonized bridges and baseplate are finished with galvanic black pearlescent.
Its grade 5 titanium case is lighter and stronger. It is a solid architecture made up of 23 pieces. It has shorter screw-in handles—with a patented Autobloc system—for greater comfort and ergonomics on the wrist. A piece with water resistance to 100 meters. This green reference is joined by another blue version.
“The new Opus Titanium arrives right here to commemorate our 40th anniversary. “This watch is not just a product, but a statement of our relentless pursuit of innovation and our respect for tradition,” he says. Oliver Ebstein, CEO de Chronoswiss. “Once again, we are ready to surprise the world, just like our brand did in the 90s.”
