With the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in July, reports of the next generation of Galaxy devices have surfaced. Regarding the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 (Pro), it is very likely that the final processor of the next Galaxy smartwatches will be known.
Over a month ago it was reported that Samsung could equip the Galaxy Watch 6 with a new Exynos W930 chipset. This processor should offer a small boost in speed over the W920 SoC that powers the current Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series.
Based on the new Bluetooth certification revealed by Tech_Reve, the chip will be equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 and will bear the product name S5E5515. Of course, the SoC will be integrated into the W930 model instead of the W980 model that was previously rumored. And that's entirely appropriate, given the alleged small improvements.

It is not yet clear what advantages the processor has over the W920, apart from 10% increase in CPU speed. It is however speculated that it will be made using the same 5nm fabrication process, but with lithography or binning more efficient. Ultimately, this could allow improve the battery life of the Galaxy Watch 6. A goal pursued by almost every smart watch on the market.
Apart from the processor, other certifications have revealed that the Galaxy Watch 6 duo will be equipped with larger batteries. On the other hand, the Pro model should find its rotating ring. They will work with the new "One UI 5 Watch OS", based on Android 13, while the charging speed should be the same as the previous models.
The Galaxy Watch 6 is expected to be showcased at the company's next Unpacked Event in late July in South Korea. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 along with the more rugged Galaxy Tab S9 will also be showcased at the same event.
Given these new features, do you plan to buy the Galaxy Watch 6 this year?
