Zenith Chronomaster Original Esfera Negra 7

The Zenith Chronomaster Black Sphere – an Original Timepiece

Home Zenith has presented its new Chronomaster Original Black Tricolor Dial. This new model is the modern successor to the ZENITH A386, one of the first El Primero references, with a round steel case, from 1969. Now the iconic black tricolor dial is reinterpreted, a first for the historic 1969 case. The Chronomaster Original with black tricolor dial is equipped with the latest generation of the El Primero high-frequency automatic chronograph caliber, displaying tenths of a second. Furthermore, it stands out as a contemporary version of one of the most emblematic references of El Primero.

“After more than 50 years since the trajectory of mechanical chronographs was forever changed, ZENITH continues to develop and evolve the El Primero caliber to design new models that push the limits of performance. “It continues to be the benchmark for precision among automatic chronograph movements.”

Zenith Chronomaster Original Black Tricolor Sphere

A new model from the house of Zenith that shares the same silhouette and general proportions as its historical predecessor from 1969, moving away from the spheres with openings and skeletons and opting for a more classic design also in its sphere. A new model that seems tremendously attractive to us.

The traditionally creamy white dial with three gray and blue toned counters is turned black for a more dramatic look. This is the first time that a black tricolor dial has appeared on the 38mm steel case, as it was originally designed for the A386 in 1969. Other elements have also had to change from white to black and vice versa, including the indication of the date as well as the tenths of a second chronograph scales.
