Home glassworks has introduced two new Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date, the “Golden Bay” and “Ocean Breeze” editions, limited to 100 copies each. Two new versions that arrive with colors that add a summer touch to the wrist. The beautiful style that recalls that of the seventies blends with the meticulous mechanics of German fine watchmaking.
“Paisley and floral prints, batik gradients…the 70s were a color craze. Baggy clothes and brightly embroidered tunics traveled in the backpack when people set out to discover the world. And there was so much to experience, whether it was on the road, in a painted van, flying over oceans in a plane, or daydreaming at a local pool. Inspired by the bold colors of the 1970s and nostalgia for faraway places, the Glashütte Original team turned their magic into two watches that are full of life.”

Two new versions with a matt lacquered dial give this model a new look. “Golden Bay” is a warm ocher hue evocative of distant beaches and sunny lagoons, while the light bluish gray of “Ocean Breeze” (“sea breeze”) evokes cool, crystal clear water and waves . Both models have the rest of the same characteristics, such as their case style and both are available with a bracelet and with rubber.
The dark tone of the two sub-dials, in stark contrast to the colored background, is perfectly complemented by the black hands and discs indicating the 12-hour counter and the Panoramic Date. The result is two spheres that are highly legible and at the same time add beauty. Both the applied indices and the hands are equipped with Super-LumiNova.
The case is made of steel with a size of 40 x 40 mm. They have anti-reflective sapphire crystal on both sides on the front and sapphire crystal on the back. It has a water resistance up to 10 bar, 100 meters.
The caliber inside is 37-02. Manufacture movement, mechanical self-winding. Among the functions of it are Hour, Minutes (Centered), Small Seconds (Off-Centered), Panoramic Date, Stop Seconds, Chronograph flyback, stop seconds, 30-minute counter, 12-hour counter and power-reserve counter. It has a power reserve of 70 hours.
They are available on a black rubber strap with a folding clasp or a stainless steel metal bracelet with a fine adjustment mechanism.
