What could pass for a simple variation is much more than that. This is news that will delight many fans Seiko. After the successful reinterpretation of the iconic SKX007, within the new Seiko 5 collection, the Japanese giant tackles the SKX013 and offers us a reduced version of its entry-level diver.
We keep here the main elements of Sports 5 with in particular the caliber 4R36, oscillating at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offering 41 hours of power reserve. All associated with a waterproof steel case 10 bar and wearing a tempered mineral glass (Hardlex). The great novelty is in the proportions, a very pleasant 38mm in diameter (against 42.5mm for the previous versions, still in collection) associated with a thickness of 12.1mm and a lug-to-lug length of 44mm. Something to delight the smallest wrists and why not conquer a female clientele.
Seiko offers us a quartet for the launch of this new line, which will most likely be joined by other versions. On the menu: a version with black bezel and dial, gray bezel and cream dial, black bezel and orange dial and finally black bezel then mint green dial. A complete palette allowing everyone to find what they are looking for. The design, very efficient and legible, remains the same and the price remains contained. However, you will have to wait for the during the month of May to be able to offer you your summer diver at a price of 350€.
