Rewrite this title a limited edition work of watchmaking art

The watchmaking house Cyrus Geneva continues to impress with the introduction of his newest creation, the Klepcys Vertical Skeleton Swirl Malachite. Launched in an ultra-limited edition of just two pieces, this sublime watch combines technical innovation and artistic design, aimed at the most demanding collectors.

A revolutionary architecture with a central vertical tourbillon

Since its initial launch in 2018, the collection Klepcys Vertical Tourbillon has continued to push the boundaries of traditional watchmaking. The novelty for 2024 is distinguished by a central tourbillon mounted on a 90° vertical axisdesigned to optimize chronometric performance when worn. According to Jean-François Mojon, master watchmaker and technical director of Cyrus Geneva, this unique angle offers increased precision in the wrist position.

The tourbillon, the true centerpiece of this timepiece, completes a complete rotation in one minute, offering a fascinating spectacle thanks to the transparency of the skeleton dial.

A rose gold case and spectacular finishes

The cushion-shaped case, made of 18K 4N rose goldmeasures 44 mm in diameter (excluding crowns) and 19.9 mm thick. This signature design incorporates two functional crowns: one at 3 o’clock for manual winding and time adjustment, and the other at 9 o’clock for quick correction.

The dial features natural malachite bowsa precious stone with unique veins, subtly integrated into the retrograde hour and minute display. The arched bridge, inspired by the genius of Leonardo da Vinci, is decorated using the microblasting technique and harmoniously frames the central tourbillon. This three-dimensional structure is protected by a 1.2 mm thick anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal.

Sophisticated mechanics and elegant complications

The Klepcys Vertical Skeleton Tourbillon Malachite is equipped with a CYR625 manufacture caliber with manual windingcomposed of 344 parts and offering an impressive power reserve of 100 hours thanks to its two parallel barrels. Each component of the movement has been carefully decorated, with micro-blasted bridges, mirror-polished cams and rhodium-plated wheels adorned with rims. Even the mirror-polished bridge screws demonstrate attention to detail.

The display includes retrograde jumping hoursof the retrograde minutesa spherical power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock, and a seconds indication directly on the tourbillon cage.

A unique visual and tactile experience

By observing this watch, we discover a true mechanical spectacle where each element seems to dance in perfect harmony. The contrast between the movement’s rubies, the malachite arcs and the polished finishes highlights the expertise of the craftsmen at Cyrus Genève.

On the back of the watch, the transparent back reveals the two barrels decorated with an engraved triangular pattern, as well as satin-finished bridges in dark gray NAC. This sublime design transforms every glance at the watch into a true experience.

A refined bracelet for an exclusive masterpiece

Mounted on a green alligator leather strap, the Klepcys Vertical Skeleton Tourbillon Malachite features a 4N 18K rose gold folding clasp, perfectly matching the case. Every detail is designed to enhance this unique timepiece.
