To mark the 30th anniversary of the iconic LANGE 1A. Lange & Söhne presents four new limited editions, celebrating three decades of watchmaking innovation and precision. These iconic models, including two new versions in platinum and rose gold, embody the quintessence of artisanal know-how and technical innovation that characterize the Saxon house.
A timeless heritage since 1994
Since its launch on October 24, 1994there LANGE 1 has become a symbol of precision watchmaking, with its unique off-center dial and distinctive large date.
With the LANGE 1, 30 years ago, A. Lange & Söhne offered a masterpiece of precision mechanics and thus set new milestones in fine watchmaking. Born from the desire to think outside the box, this watch has since symbolized the very identity of our manufacture, which aims to create timepieces with exceptional functionality and aesthetics.

For this anniversary edition, two models have been created: a version in platinum 950 with dial black onyxand a version in rose gold with a blue dial money. Each model is limited to 300 copieswhile the versions SMALL DIAPER 1smaller but just as refined, are limited to 150 copies each.
A refined design and exceptional materials
The new versions of the LANGE 1 and the SMALL DIAPER 1 stand out for their precious materials and harmonious design. The platinum model, adorned with a black onyx dial, is a first for the collection. This hard stone, rarely used in watchmaking, offers a fascinating brilliance and an elegant contrast with the platinum case. The rose gold version, meanwhile, combines the warmth of gold with the reflections of the blue silver dial, creating a look that is both modern and classic.
With a diameter of 38.5mm for LANGE 1 and 36.8mm for the PETITE LANGE 1, these timepieces retain their iconic silhouette with a thin bezel and marked lugs, reinforcing the elegance of their design.
Precision at the heart of the L121.1 caliber
The four models are powered by the in-house caliber L121.1unveiled for the first time in 2015. This sophisticated movement, with its display of the large date jumping at midnight, illustrates the technical mastery of the manufacture. The pendulum oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per houroffering a power reserve of 72 hours thanks to its double barrel.
The transparent sapphire crystal back allows you to admire the handcrafted finishes of the movement, such as the three-quarter plate decorated with Glashütte ribs and the golden kittens secured by thermally blued steel screws.
