Review of the Fitbit Sense 2

Frankly, the Fitbit Sense 2 surprised me.

At first, I was rather wary. Between the reviews that talked about bugs, the reviews about the Premium subscription and those that announced an incomplete watch, I wondered if it was really worth the price.

After several weeks on my wrist, what struck me first was the battery life. Charging a watch every day tires me out quickly. Here, I easily last almost a week. So, I keep sleep tracking active all the time without asking myself any questions.

Health-wise, this is clearly where she shines. Real-time stress tracking is surprisingly relevant. Several times the watch detected an increase in stress when I didn’t even realize it. Sleep monitoring, heart rate and ECG functions also give a real feeling of having a health dashboard on your wrist.

I also appreciate its comfort. It is light, discreet, almost invisible in everyday life. Even when I sleep, I end up forgetting that I’m wearing it.

Well… everything is not perfect.

The Fitbit Premium subscription remains annoying. We sometimes feel that certain data is deliberately put behind a paywall. I also experienced some small delays in synchronization with the application, nothing dramatic but enough to notice it.

In the end, if you’re looking for a health-first watch, with excellent battery life and full sensors, the Fitbit Sense 2 really does the job. If your goal is to have a mini-version of your smartphone on your wrist, you risk being left a little hungry.
