Let’s start with the most famous rainbow watch: the Rolex Daytona Rainbow. The iconic chronograph of the brand with the crown leaves aside any sporting ambition and is adorned with a more dressy, even flashy livery. The usual tachometric bezel is replaced by a rainbow sapphire gradientwhile on the dial the 11 indexes are cut in baguette sapphire of the same color as that of the gem facing it on the bezel. Finally, the handles and the crown guards are also set with 56 white diamonds. Everything is set in a case of Everose, the rose gold alloy specific to Rolex. Timex Q Rainbow 36mm
There Timex Q Rainbow 36mm is the only quartz model in our selection, but it is also the cheapest. For less than 200€the Timex Q Rainbow offers a rainbow glasses, accompanied by 11 matching indexes. At 3 o’clock, there is a day/date window. THE metal strap is stretchy, like a nice nod to the 70s/80s. The Timex Q Rainbow is available in gray or black, the latter also featuring a rainbow strap. Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Frosted Gold Skeleton Double Balance Wheel
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Frosted Gold Double Skeleton Balance Wheel is an exceptional watch from all points of view. The watch is entirely made in white gold with an “icy” texture which gives it a unique grainy appearance. The movement incorporates a double balance for better precision and it is fully skeletonized. And to give a little color to the whole, the bezel is made up of 32 colored gemstones. Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Skeleton 6-15
There Skeletons 6-15 is an evolution of Super Sea Wolfthe emblematic diver of Zodiac exit in 1953, the same year as the Rolex Submariner and the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. The changes are purely aesthetic, but the result is very successful and gives this Skeleton 6-15 a new identity, more fun and more relaxed. There bezel becomes rainbowAnd the minute hand turns bright yellow. On the back of the case, the sapphire crystal has a small border repeating the colors of the bezel. The Super Sea Wolf is a model already accustomed to bright colors, but here, Zodiac pushes the palette a little further, and that’s good! Especially since it is a model from the permanent collection, and not a limited series, as is too often the case. Price 2,099€
Zenith Defy 21 Chroma
The Zenith Defy 21 Chroma is a colorful version of the Defy 21. The white ceramic case comes with a white silicone strap with colored stitching. The 12 indexes and the hundredths of a second scale display the colors of the rainbow, while the skeleton dial reveals green, orange and purple touches on the bridges of the movement. Finally, the crown has a yellow border. On the mechanical side, we obviously find the El Primero chronograph movementclocked at 36,000 vibrations per hour, in a particular configuration, accurate to 1/100th of a second. This is a watch that hides exceptional mechanics behind a rather relaxed livery, thus offering a very attractive contrast. A limited edition of 200 copiesunfortunately all sold. Price: €15,600
Breitling Superocean Heritage ’57 Special Edition
In 2020, Breitling unveiled this new version of its diver Superoceanin a version directly inspired by the 1950s-60s Californiabaptized Heritage ’57. Surf atmosphere, cool attitude and road trip in a convertible along Highway 1. This Superocean Heritage ’57 Special Edition retains its usual lines, with in particular its concave bezel and its unique set of needles. On the mechanical side, we find the 10 gauge, COSC-certified, as usual with Breitling. Here, the difference is of course in the color palette: the indexes take up the colors of the rainbow, and the mark on the bezel changes to yellow, to match the Californian atmosphere. After a first edition limited to 250 copies, Breitling has released a new series called “Special Edition II” to 1,000 copies. Price: €5,400
Casio G-Shock GM110RB-2A Metal Rainbow
If you want color, or even lots of color, then the Casio G-Shock GM110RB-2A is made for you. Case, dial and multicolored bracelet: in other words, this G-Shock is not discreet. Add to that some (very) generous dimensionsand you will get one of the funniest G-Shocks in the collection. Inside, we find the module 5553 with its time zone, alarm, stopwatch and countdown functions. As for the case, it remains faithful to the G-Shock DNA, with its water resistance to 200m, its resistance to shocks and magnetic fields. The extra detail: due to its very special manufacturing process, each bezel of the GM110RB-2A is unique. Unfortunately, this highly requested model is sold out new. Price: 278€
CODE41 X41 Rainbow (Edition 6)
There 6th edition of the X41 was released in 2022 and enjoyed the same success as previous editions. And for the occasion, CODE41 has introduced new colors, including an unprecedented rainbow variation, available on the sapphire, titanium and Aerocarbon cases. Here, the color gradient is not done on the bezel, but on the bridges of the movement itselfthus highlighting the magnificent skeleton work, a trademark of CODE41. The result is both very modern, even industrial, while adding a touch of originality and fun. The X41 is a piece with a strong personality, and these rainbow colors only reinforce its strong character. Price: from €5,543
Hublot Big Bang Unico Titanium Rainbow
There Hublot Big Bang was never an understated watch, but it’s kicked into high gear with this rainbow livery. The white gold bezel and the titanium case are entirely set with no less than 218 gemstones : rubies, pink sapphires, amethysts, blue sapphires, blue topazes, tsavorites, yellow sapphires and orange sapphires. The indexes, which seem to float above the skeletonized movement, also take up the color gradation of the rainbow. The whole is accompanied by a completely offbeat but perfectly matching bracelet. This Big Bang Rainbow is animated by the Unico automatic chronograph movement, produced in-house by Hublot, which delivers more than 70 hours of power reserve. Patek Philippe Aquanaut Luce Rainbow
Patek-Philippe is not ostentatious, it is well known. And the honorable house of Geneva proves it once again by achieving the tour de force of offering a Refined and Distinguished Rainbow Aquanaut. The secret ? A lens made of 2 rows of gemstones : a row of white diamonds, and a row of multicolored sapphires. The result is subtle, the diamonds toning down the glitz of the colored sapphires. The white mother-of-pearl dial is dotted with 12 colored sapphire hour-markers, echoing the gradient of the bezel. A demonstration of balance and harmony, completely in the DNA of Patek Philippe.
