Like many modern independent brands, Buci Paris was born out of a campaign crowdfunding launched by Nousseima Baraketits founder, in 2022. Originally from Franche-Comté, a mecca of watchmaking located not far from Switzerland, she has the same passion for watches and literature. Not wanting to choose, she decided one day to combine these two loves in a single project, a single object: Buci Paris was born.
Nousseïma sets up her studio in the 6th arrondissement, more precisely in the emblematic Saint-Germain-des-Prés, a district full of history and culture, whose names resonate loud and clear: Marguerite Duras, Simone de Beauvoir, Racine, Balzac, Delacroix, Manet and many others. There is no shortage of artistic inspiration here!
