BRM announced a few weeks ago that it was becoming the official timekeeper of the Grand Pavois Organization events (Grand Pavois La Rochelle, Défi Atlantique, Rallye des Iles du Soleil) for 2023-2025 in the nautical world.
A first for this French watch brand which, for the past twenty years, has mainly been present on motor racing circuits around the world and, more recently, on certain greens since BRM also offers timepieces dedicated to golf.
Today, therefore, BMR is making a remarkable entry into the world of boating with this new collection called Boat Master.
The latter offers several models available with a polished stainless steel case of 44 mm or 32 mm in diameter (for men or women therefore). Each caseband is treated with a black, chocolate or blue PVD finish. With crown at 4 o’clock as on some “divers”.
One of the distinctive characteristics of this collection is the presence of a sunray blue dial on each of the models. This dial, in shades of blue reminiscent of the movements of the waves, is adorned with light rays similar to those of the sun.
Marine life enthusiasts will be particularly attentive to another detail that can be seen on the dial: the inscription of the main winds that blow in the Provence region: Tramontane (North), Levant (East), Marin (South) and Ponant (West).
On the construction side, these BRM Boat Masters are equipped with three springs known as “Shock Absorber” (SA), a technology developed by the French manufacture and designed to absorb shocks and impacts in order to guarantee reliable operation of the mechanical caliber. automatic (2824) even in the most extreme conditions (which is often the case on a sailboat).
