He wanted to explore this complication further and add another calendar to his collection. In collaboration with its partner Agenhor SA, H. Moser & Cie. has developed the Endeavor Chinese Calendar limited Edition, with a production of 100 pieces.
A new model that combines the Chinese lunisolar calendar with the exclusively solar Gregorian calendar, and displays the 12 signs of the Chinese zodiac along with the lunar phases, all without the need for corrections for 12 years. It also symbolizes the union of two cultures with different measurements of time.

H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Chinese Calendar Limited Edition
The new Endeavor Chinese Calendar Limited Edition, in addition to being technically advanced, is simply very beautiful. A new watch that shares a style with the rest of the Endeavor family and that makes it easily identifiable with the H. Moser & Cie house.
It shows the months and days of the Chinese calendar, the days of the Gregorian calendar, the lunar phases and the zodiac signs that are associated with each Chinese year. Chinese months have 29 or 30 days, since the lunar calendar is based on the cycles of the Moon, which takes 29.53 days to orbit the Earth. There are 12 lunar months, which means that a lunar year lasts an average of 354.36 days and, therefore, has 10.88 days less than a solar year, which lasts 365.25 days. In an exclusively lunar calendar, the months move with respect to the seasons, each month beginning about 11 days before each solar year. To avoid excessive discrepancy with the solar year, lunisolar calendars have a thirteenth month every two or three years. These months are known as “embolismals” and are added to keep the lunar years aligned with the four seasons.
The dial has a Midnight Blue Fumé finish with a sunray motif. The H. Moser & Cie. logo contrasts above it. transparent lacquered, applied indices and hands of the hours, minutes and small seconds hand in the shape of a leaf. The hand is rounded for Chinese days and months
The case is made of 5N red gold with a size of 40 mm in diameter and a thickness of 13 mm. Both the main crystal and the visible caseback are made of sapphire. The crown is screwed and decorated with an “M”. Water resistance is up to 3 bar, 30 meters.
Inside the caliber used is the HMC 210. Mechanical self-winding movement. The oscillating weight is made of solid 18-karat gold engraved with the distinctive H. Moser mark. It has a power reserve of at least 3 days.
The strap is hand-stitched brown alligator leather with a 5N red gold folding buckle engraved with the Moser logo.
