Fitbit Sense Review: A Comprehensive Look at Fitbit’s Smartwatch

I quickly understood the trick.

The Fitbit Sense is not really a watch for someone who just wants to receive their text messages on their wrist. Above all, it’s a watch to monitor your body, your sleep, your heart rate, your stress… in short, everything that we don’t usually look at enough.

On a daily basis, what I appreciated the most was the Fitbit application. It gives a real overview, without being too messy. Sleep monitoring is detailed, the ECG reassures, the heart rate remains easily visible, and you quickly want to compare your days. It motivates a little, casually.

But frankly, everything is not clean. The side button can be annoying, the touch isn’t always as smooth as you’d hope, and the Bluetooth syncing sometimes seems to take on a life of its own. There, that breaks the premium side a bit.

Autonomy really depends on the settings. You can last several days, but if you activate too many functions, it goes downhill quickly. And then the Premium subscription… good. On an already expensive watch, it’s average.

In the end, I find it very good for health monitoring, less convincing for serious sport or those who want an ultra-responsive watch.
