OUR Review of the new edition of Code41’s DAY41 whose pre-orders start today with first deliveries before Christmas.
DAY41, one of the greatest watchmaking successes of 2020.
In this very difficult year for the watch industry (administrative closure of our stores), the 100% digital model of Code41, and a launch just before the lockdown slump, protected them from the crisis and the first edition of DAY41 launched in January reached new heights:
– 1941 DAY41 sold,
– either a turnover of more than 2 million euros,
These are now common figures for the Swiss brand founded by Claudio d’Amore and prove that the brand has managed to attract a loyal audience of connoisseurs. Some commentators say that Code41 only attracts the “general public”, but all the studies prove it, the general public is moving towards well-known brands and the notoriety of Code41 among the general public is almost zero, ask around, you will see.
So there are thousands of them watch fans who buy Code41. This success should make our young brands think, as they are releasing magnificent models but some of them do not understand enough the importance of watch blogs and sites and in the end very few watches are sold because few people hear about them.
This massive digital presence has made it possible to raise awareness the DAY41 and his raw, machined and transparent design which has greatly seduced.
A new edition of Day41
Code41 launches Today pre-orders for the new edition. Several new designs are out:
3 new DAY41 in 40mm:
– steel,
– black PVD,
– and anthracite
5 new DAY41 in 37mm
– steel,
– diamond-set steel,
– anthracite PVD
– rose gold PVD
– as well as a black PVD version (as for the 40mm).
Personally, I find that The DAY41 is the most beautiful of the Code41 watchesWe find the transparency and technicality of the X41 but with more elegance and refinement in my opinion.
Also note a great job on the bracelets : DAY41 offers a steel bracelet and 3 eco-responsible bracelets made from recycled leather, linen and even paper. All their bracelets are equipped with a 3-blade folding clasp with pushers.

DAY 41: a watch with Swiss movement, design and assembly
Designed and engineered in Switzerlandthe Code41 features the Swiss STP6-15 movement and has taken care of the details:

– weight: 60g for the 37mm and 80 for the 40mm (with leather strap)
– diameter: 37 or 40mm
– thickness 10.5mm
