Objective: to avoid dispersion. Here are the references that “fit well” on the wrist and do the job for the price — without drowning you in 50 variations.
PD-1639 “Submariner-like”
The bestseller. Case ~40mm, bezel (often ceramic), NH35. Readability, presence, versatility. To check: bezel clearance, sapphire flatness, triangle alignment. Typical measured diameter 40.5mmbetween the horns 20mm (product statements 2025).
PD-1662 “GMT-like”
Two-tone look, 24-hour hand. Please note: depending on the variant, it is a GMT “caller” (24-hour setting via the crown, no local time jump). Engine more often quartz/mecha-quartz than true affordable GMT automatic — read in detail line by line. Slow enlargement variable date, noted on cards from October 2025.
PD-1676 “Daytona-like” (VK63)
The VK63 playground. Clean sub counters, clean chrono trigger, instant reset. For those who want the chrono “look” specific to the office or the café. Less thick than a car, it fits under the sleeve. Accuracy announced ±20 sec/monthmulti-annual battery life depending on use of the chrono (SII 2025 sources).
PD-1701 “Speedmaster-like”
Clear reading, tachometer scale, “tool” atmosphere. Movement of your choice depending on stock (VK63 common). Great look/function ratio if you like chronos. Check: centering of chrono hands, perfect return to zero.
PD-1645 “Datejust-like”
Textured (flinqué/sunburst), fluting depending on version, legible date. It’s the Pagani “white shirt”: simple, effective. Typical raised case height 12–13mm according to movement, data 2025.
PD-1733 “Milgauss-like”
Lightning needle, colors assumed. The fun. Nothing to do with real high-end anti-magnetic protection — we’re talking looks, not laboratory. Undocumented antimagnetic specs on the Pagani side in 2025, do not overinterpret.
“Black Bay-like” 1671 and “Royal Oak-like” (integrated)
Vintage-tool vs. vintage-tool atmosphere integrated sport-chic. The 1671 exudes a dressy toolwatch; the integrated version gives the “bracelet that makes the watch” feeling. Try it on the wrist: ergonomics depends on the angle of the horn. Variable lug spacing (20–22mm), horn-to-corner length to examine if your wrist is < 16.5 cm (2025).
