Home Zenith has presented his new DEFY 21 Chroma II in the form of two limited editions with black and white ceramic. Two new and striking models that take up the limited edition of the DEFY 21 Chroma first presented at LVMH Watch Week in 2022. Watches that drew attention for their combination of a white ceramic case, a wide palette of touches of color and the only series-produced high-frequency automatic chronograph caliber in the world with tenth-of-a-second precision. Now they are reinterpreting them by creating two editions in black and white ceramic, each with its own range of colours.
Zenith Defy 21 Chroma II
Two new models from Zenith’s Defy 21 Chroma collection that draw attention due to the shape of their case inspired by a classic style of the house that is combined with a very modern material such as black and white ceramic without forgetting its open sphere that reveals part of its formidable caliber.
The black ceramic version presents a range of colors based on the primary colors, while the white ceramic version has brighter details highlighting blue and pink colors. The colors applied to the indices and the hundredths of a second scale transcend the dial and the case, as the rubber ring on the crown and the stitching on the rubber strap with a “sanity” effect share the color palette with the dial , dial with raised chronograph counters matching the colors of the case.
As we have mentioned, the case is made of ceramic and its size is 44 mm in diameter. It has a sapphire front crystal and the same material for the visible back crystal. It has a water resistance up to 10 bar, 100 meters.
Inside it has an El Primero 21. Manufacture movement, mechanical, chronograph and automatic winding. It has an indication of the hundredths of a second and is characterized by its precision and performance. It is equipped with two regulating organs and independent bearings for the timing and chronograph functions, which operate at frequencies of 5 Hz (36,000 v/h) and 50 Hz (360,000 v/h), respectively. It has a power reserve of 50 hours.
The strap is made of rubber with colored stitching and a titanium double folding clasp.
