While waiting for the brand’s “real” announcements at the Watches & Wonders trade fair which will take place at the end of the month, Tissot is taking advantage of the start of the year to enrich its range of PRX watches and accessories with a new dial. Blue panda for the chronograph and a rubber strap instead of a steel bracelet for the PRX Powermatic 80.
A new blue Panda dial for the PRX Chronograph
If it was in March 2022 that Tissot lifted the veil on its new range of PRX chronographs, with a choice of a blue dial with white sub-counters or a white dial with black sub-counters, it is now a dial white with blue undercounters which is available for sale.
The indexes and hands are silvered, with an integrated luminescent material to make it easier to read the time at night. As a reminder, the Tissot PRX Chronograph has a diameter of 42 mm, a water resistance of 100 meters and a Valjoux A05 H31 chrono movement which gives it a power reserve of 60 hours. The price remains unchanged, set at €1,995.
A rubber strap for the PRX Powermatic 80
At the same time, it is therefore a new bracelet for the PRX Powermatic 80 automatic watches (40 mm in diameter, three hands + date, 80 hours of power reserve) which is available for sale. With the tool-less strap quick-change system, we suspected that several straps were going to be available.
If it was necessary until then to call on third-party companies, or to be satisfied with a leather strap, it is now a Rubber strap (rubber), in white or black, which is available as original equipment. It remains to be seen whether it will be sold alone.
We’re wishing for the best. The PRX Powermatic 80 with its Rubber strap is currently priced at €725 compared to €695 with a leather strap or €745 with a steel strap.
