Here, Amazfit pushes BioCharge™ and continuous monitoring of recovery (24/7), with integration into Helio Strap if you want monitoring without a watch on your wrist (climbing, grappling, etc.). Zepp Coach offers simple, very actionable plans — not perfect, but useful when you just want to run better without Excel.
Important : the Balance 2 no longer includes body composition measurement (BIA) present on the Balance 1. If you bought the range for that, stop — this model doesn’t do it. It is clear, and confirmed by several tests.
Sleep notifications, HRV during the night, guided breathing, morning score… The essentials are there, with no compulsory subscription. The Zepp ecosystem has calmed down — so much the better.
Autonomy & daily life: real endurance, telephone, payments, notifications
658 mAh battery and credible promises: up to 21 days typical, 10 days intensive, 33 p.m. in precise GPS (up to 67 hours in economy). In mixed use (dual-band GNSS 2–3 outings/week, partial AOD, SpO₂ auto OFF), you spend the week without stress. Bluetooth calls (two speakers), Android quick replies (keyboard or dictation), Zepp Pay (partial support in France, Curve solution possible). And for clarity: the Balance 2 does better than average in audio quality.

The frontal alternative ? Garmin Venu 3. More expensive (often €359–449), official 14-day smartwatch battery life, very solid Garmin coaching, but no native map and only 5 ATM. You pay for the ecosystem and the software finish. It depends on your priorities, period.

No bragging. At €299.90the Amazfit Balance 2 plays “complete sports watch” (map, 10 ATM, solid autonomy) where others just sell you a beautiful screen. You lose the BIA — too bad. In exchange, you win a consistent watch that simplified your outings instead of adding friction. So yes, this model ticks the essentials. And you see very well why he is attractive.
