As we know, the French watchmaker Lip occupies a prominent place among the brands that have advanced modern watchmaking with numerous supporting innovations.
In 1974, Lip called on seven designers from outside the watch industry to breathe new life into the brand’s collections, after the social events that marked 1973. We remember that at the time, workers in the company occupied their factory threatened with filing for bankruptcy.
It was in the collection presented in 1975 that the revival of the brand truly exploded, and that incredibly innovative (even downright avant-garde) models for the time were presented, which beautifully combined ergonomics and design.
