My name is Thomas Kaufmann and I am the founder and author of Swiss Made Watch. Having grown up in the picturesque city of Zurich, Switzerland, I have always had an admiration for Swiss watches with their meticulous craftsmanship and timeless design.
This has inspired me to create this blog in order to share my passion for these remarkable timepieces. As a proud Swiss citizen, I have always been impressed with the precision and reliability of Swiss watchmakers.
This did not go unnoticed growing up in Zurich and being surrounded by the finest watch brands in the world such as Rolex, Omega and Patek Philippe. This early exposure to Swiss watchmaking triggered my interest in the industry and ultimately led me to study horology and the history of Swiss watch brands.
On Swiss Made Watch, I share my knowledge and enthusiasm for Swiss watches with enthusiasts and collectors from all over the world. My mission is to provide informative and engaging content such as the history of Swiss watchmaking, details about popular models and the developments happening in the industry.
I am also proud to be providing a service that benefits the community. A portion of the revenue generated by this blog is donated to the Hans Wildorf Foundation which helps aspiring watchmakers with their education and training.
